Read moreIt's right next to the railway station. Several buses leave daily for Târgu Mureş, Sibiu, Făgăraş, Bistriţa, Agnita... There are also local buses for the surrounding villages. Not always convenient: for example, to get to Biertan, you'll have to go through Mediaş and change buses. The bus station is small and tickets are bought inside, in the store. Maxitaxis, which run between Bucharest (Strada Ritmului) - Braşov - Tărgu Mureş, stop here very frequently. Some international buses to France (with Romfour).

Read moreIt's about 1 km from the center, on the other side of the river. Sighișoara is located on the line connecting Bucharest to Oradea (then Budapest, for certain routes). So it's easy to reach these towns, as well as Brașov (6 trains a day, 3h to 3h30 journey time), Sinaia (2 a day, 4h20 journey time), Mediaș (7 a day, 30 to 40 minutes journey time) and Cluj (3 a day, 3h30 journey time). A small local train, slow but offering pretty landscapes and villages, reaches Odorheiu Secuiesc, in the Sicilian country (3 per day, 1h45).
