LES RESTAURANTS DU CŒUR

Mutual aid between neighbors

Founded in 1985, Restos du Coeur offers voluntary support to people in precarious situations, distributing free meals to those on low incomes. They contribute to their social reintegration by helping them with administrative formalities and facilitating access to housing. The center also offers outreach services, budget management assistance, French and computer workshops, and workshops to boost self-esteem. The Bus du Coeur makes two stops in town: from 8:00 pm to 8:45 pm at the Pontlieue market and from 9:00 pm to 9:45 pm at Place des Jacobins. Registration to become a volunteer is open all year round on their website.
