Don't miss this new museum created in memory of mining activity. After closing the main deposits in the region, a group of former miners wanted to save coal activity in a cultural heritage. Thus was born this project an interactive museum, very informative, where the mining reoriented as guides. Founded in 1835, this convent was the mother house of the Franciscan missions in the south. The region owes them about fifteen churches between Río Biueno and Chillán.
