SAHELIYON KI BARI
Read moreA little way from the old town, this garden was conceived and designed by maharana Sangram Singh for his wife, between 1710 and 1734. Its water features and fountains are so sophisticated that no one is able to restore them today. But most of them still work. The garden is made up of green lawns, paths lined with tropical plants and lotus-covered basins. The queen used to come here with her 48 ladies-in-waiting, given to her by her father at the time of her royal marriages.
