It is for many, and by far, the best restaurant in the valley. The welcome is warm and caring thanks to the owners Larbi and Taoufik who know how to receive. Their motto speaks for itself: "Here the customer is not king, the customer is a friend You will have lunch on the terrace in a colorful garden or in a lounge where you will feel like at home. On the menu, some delicious dishes should delight your taste buds: pastilla, beef tagine with quince are a real treat. A beautiful green space, not to be missed if you are visiting.

A large choice of dishes for this restaurant which offers a splendid view on the valley. On the menu salads, sandwiches, Moroccan soup (harira) and cold starters. For the hungriest, wood-fired grills or tajine with kanoon (a kind of earthen barbecue which gives a succulent taste to the tajine which has simmered for hours), all with the magnificent Berber bread Tafernout, home-made if you please! A good address to enjoy in a family atmosphere with this very Moroccan idea of sharing, and without ruining yourself! Bessaha !

On the large, quiet terrace, you can enjoy Moroccan salads, tajines, brochettes and couscous in the sun, facing the mountains while sipping a glass of hot tea. A restaurant frequented by locals and walkers, as it is strategically located in the city centre by the river. So much so that it is the meeting point for many hikes in the area. The restaurant is far from being able to give stars to the establishment, but the food is good and the staff very welcoming, just like the Berbers in the valley.

Dar El Fellah, on the outskirts of Tahanaout, is a large guest farm surrounded by mountains, ideal for large groups. The setting is really very pleasant and it has the merit of being one of the only restaurants in the village. Food made with organic products is fine, but prefer tagines to grills (a little lean for the price). The welcome is courteous, professional and relatively fast, but without much warmth. You will also find local products, animals and games for children.

Here on Friday, it's souk day. It is huge and occupies almost the whole village. Several alleys are specially dedicated to the restoration: stands set up for the occasion or solid construction, you will have the embarrassment of choice as long as mania is not part of your personality. The main thing: the meat is fresh (like the locals you can bring it yourself to grill it) and these estaminets are very popular with the inhabitants, so don't worry. What's more, you can eat there at an unbeatable price.

Far from hectic Marrakech, the Soukoune restaurant boasts an enchanting setting, with breathtaking views of the Atlas Mountains. But above all, it offers a top-notch culinary experience, for both lunch and dinner. What makes this place so special is the opportunity to enjoy total privacy thanks to nine private tents, warm spaces with every comfort. The dishes on offer are prepared by talented local chefs who have mastered the most authentic recipes. Refined and unusual.

In the village of Asgaour, just 9 kilometers from the waterfalls, La Perle de l'Ourika is first and foremost a restaurant on a pleasant terrace overlooking the river and valley, offering a top-quality menu at more than decent prices. If you'd like to extend the feeling of tranquility, the inn offers seven small, basic rooms on the first floor, with shared showers and lounge, and a pretty garden with access to the wadi. After lounging on the deckchairs and taking a siesta, there are plenty of activities on offer: horseback riding along the banks, quad biking, buggies or a game of pétanque... it's all very French!

No fewer than 50 tents are spread across this camp located in the middle of the Agafay stone desert. When it comes to camping, it's hard to imagine the level of comfort that is the camp's primary vocation: 25 m², a real king-size bed, a fully-equipped bathroom, private toilet, electricity, carpets, all in shades of ochre reminiscent of the desert... surprising luxury. The blue of the pool adds to the magic, a true delight in such surroundings. And if you've already booked a hotel, you can always come here for lunch and spend the day.
