Read moreSawadi is a hotel located in the Skoura palm grove, 7 km from the town center. The access road is not paved, but it's easily accessible by conventional car. The palm grove is home to the famous Kasbah d'Amerhidil, a historic landmark whose image is featured on Moroccan 50-Dirham banknotes. Skoura Ahl El Oust is an agricultural village 40 km east of Ouarzazate, on the Route des 1 000 Kasbahs. Ouarzazate airport has direct flights from Paris and Casablanca, and it takes around 45 minutes to reach Sawadi from the airport. From Marrakech, most visitors come by car, crossing the Atlas Mountains via the Tizi-n-Tichka pass. It is also possible to take the bus from Marrakech bus station to Skoura. Sawadi has won the Trophée National du Tourisme Responsable and has been awarded the Clef Verte label.
