NGO NJOCK LIPO FALLS

Natural site to discover

The Ngo Njok Lipo waterfalls are named after a woman who lived there and, according to legend, was endowed with occult powers. Like most natural sites and waterfalls in Cameroon, they are charged with beliefs and spiritual values that can be both beneficial and frightening. Here, the falls were once used to throw people convinced of witchcraft overboard. To this day, they are the object of spiritual rites, and people come here to leave gifts and offerings.

ABUMA CAVE

Natural site to discover

The Abouma cave is one of the few caves and rock formations known to all in the country. In addition to its sacred aspect and its spiritual beliefs, the cave is a curiosity that brings the region to life. Access is fairly easy, and all you have to do is stop along the way and you'll be told where to find it. Entering the grotto is like stepping back in time, and you immediately feel as if you've entered the hollow of the rock, whose weathered walls provide shade and coolness.
