BASE DE LOISIRS DE L'ISLE-JOURDAIN
Read moreThe L'Isle-Jourdain leisure park covers almost 25 hectares to the west of the town, and includes a picnic area. Two artificial lakes fed by the Save river offer a wide range of activities. Electrically-assisted bicycles are available all year round from the tourist office, or you can explore the hiking trails on foot. There are four of them, each with a different theme: a cycling trail, an artistic discovery trail through the murals of L'Isle-Jourdain, a turnkey tour of the historic town center, and a heritage discovery rally for children. The skate park, city stadium, beach volleyball court, petanque courts, fitness area and tennis courts, located between the two lakes, are also accessible all year round. April marks the start of the season. The heated swimming pool boasts an ideal temperature of 28°C for aquagym, aquabike or swimming lessons. Adrenalin junkies and wakeboarders return to the waterski lift. Tricks are performed using structures placed on the lake. It's not until May, when the lake is a little warmer, that paddleboat and pedal-boat rentals start up again. In July and August, the mini-golf course livens up days and early evenings. Ask at the tourist office about all these activities.

Read moreThe plan d'eau de l'Uby is a huge 80-hectare lake for relaxation, with a fitness trail where you can enjoy fishing and rowing in a competitive channel all year round. In summer, bathing is supervised from the large sandy beach. You can go pedal boating, canoeing or paddle-boarding, and enjoy water games and an adventure park for the kids. There's also a 25-metre swimming pool, tennis, volleyball, basketball and pétanque courts.

Read moreThe lake of Gimont is a 2 hectare lake reserved for fishermen and walkers. You will find on its banks some leisure equipments like a swimming pool and tennis courts. There is also an area for camping cars where you can park by paying at the terminal. Not really developed, the lake is especially a small paradise for fishermen. You can catch roach, tench or pike-perch. It is also possible to fish in the rivers of Arrats and Gimone.

PARC DE LOISIRS DE GONDRIN

It has been transformed into a gigantic swimming pool for the enjoyment of local residents. The 4,500 m² pool is divided into several zones. An 11-metre waterslide, a wave ball, floating buoys and a paddling pool for toddlers provide the perfect setting for family fun. The 1.5-hectare park also features other activities, including sports fields.
LAC DE L'ASTARAC

If swimming is forbidden, it is possible to fish there and to walk, cycle or ride on the paths along its banks. Picnic tables, orienteering and health course are waiting for you to enjoy a day in the open air. The lake is also a bird sanctuary where more than 160 species of birds, including a large number of migratory birds, can be seen. With the Pyrenees in the background, the setting is enchanting.
LAC DE LACOSTE

With free access all year round, you can swim for free in the summer within a perimeter defined by the team of lifeguards and practice aquatic activities such as paddling or canoeing.
