In 2017, SLUC Nancy Basket tumbled to the pro B level. This is the first descent in the history of the club, founded in 1967 by Pierre Rebourgeon, after more than 20 consecutive seasons in pro A and two French championship titles. The club and the association remain committed to sports education, intervene in schools and make animations in the neighborhoods, in addition to the training center, the basketball school, youth teams, women and refereeing school. Also noteworthy is the Challenge Eisenbach Automotors, the largest basketball gathering in the East.
