On the first floor, the atmosphere is friendly, with a wide selection of craft beers and cocktails. An excellent address.

Beautiful setting and club atmosphere in an ancient restored colonial villa. Classic and good Vietnamese cuisine with vegetarian specialities. Everything is done to give a feeling of luxury (especially prices). At lunchtime, the place is popular with businessmen. In the evening, a more intimate atmosphere with the possibility to stay in the bar.

On the edge of the lake, in a large Mediterranean house, an Italian restaurant that masters all the classics: pizza pizza, risotto, pasta… Varied cellar. Good address and good kitchen.

Chic setting in an Art Deco villa for this restaurant whose owner wanted to bring the Buddha Bar from Paris to Hanoi. Good cuisine even if it lacks inspiration, with Vietnamese and Asian dishes and a European touch. You can choose between soups, grilled meats, etc. Popular with business customers. An address to frequent rather for dinner or to enjoy the setting and have a drink upstairs in cosy sofas.

Located in the elegant setting of the Sofitel Metropole, the Club Bar is a chic establishment with an enchanting décor. On the menu are French specialties (oysters, onion soup, grilled beef, lobster...), homemade pasta, Vietnamese specialties as well as burgers and sandwiches. The place is also ideal to sip an excellent cocktail while listening to soft jazz music, live from Thursday to Sunday from 7pm. Warmly recommended.

Excellent little Japanese restaurant. And yet, the management and the cooks are Vietnamese....Seafood of high quality, fresh and tasty. To be recommended to all fish lovers. A wide choice of sushi and sashimi, prepared according to tradition, before your eyes, if you choose one of the places at the counter. The establishment is very popular and the strong presence of Japanese customers is a clear sign. Finally, the restaurant offers particularly moderate prices given the quality of the products on offer.

Authentic and delicious Indian cuisine. Opened in July 2011, the restaurant is popular with customers, although the setting, with its kitschy airport lobby feel, lacks charm and personality. It offers a wide variety of specialities from northern and southern India. The traditional tandoor produces delicious naan. Indian travellers passing through Hanoi find themselves in great numbers in the establishment and are full of praise for the cuisine. Pretty good sign.... Attentive and discreet service that can even be French-speaking.
