From early spring to late autumn, you will have the opportunity to discover the Giants during festivities organized in the villages, but the largest concentration of the department is in Thuir in July. The Giants represent important characters of the city or village to which they are attached, they are often historical characters. From a height of about 3.20 m, they weigh between 30 and 40 kg, which requires a certain strength of the carriers who must dance and run during the duration of the festival.
