RAID ÉQUESTRE D'ENDURANCE

In 1975, the equestrian raid «Les 160 km de Florac» was the first major race in France. A little over forty years later, it is one of the great classics of discipline but also a real myth, an emblematic international race, particularly supported by the Sultanate of Oman. The success of this race, largely in the heart of the National Park, has of course built on the difficulties of the test, significant gaps, rough terrain, extreme temperatures, duration of the race (between 20 and 12 hours in part), but also on the wild beauty and diversity of the landscapes and places crossed.
