Where to jog Yvelines

A small compact massif of 115 hectares, acquired in 1974 by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry to a promoter (in exchange for the construction of the new village of Maurepas) composed of the Courance valley, consisting of young oak stands, and the plateau, poor pine and birch, which borders the south. Although the forest is quite difficult to access, a sports course has been built around its pond.

The Rambouillet forest is a true paradise for pedestrians: it does not include less than 50 kilometres of green slopes! What opportunities to spend in full nature! Among its four lanes, we selected for you the Golden pond trail, which will delight the grass walkers and the cyclists on Sunday. From the south of Rambouillet, it is 5 kilometres long, easy and uneven, in a shaded setting of dense forest. What quickly take advantage of physical exercise! As for the most motivated, they can why not try other circuits: from Rambouillet to Montfort-l'Amaury (20 km), from Mesle to Poigny-en-Forêt (29 km), or from the Earl of Toulouse junction to Saint-Hubert (5,5 km).
