It is a decentralized body of the French Equestrian Federation. The committee's main missions are to organize training courses, contribute to the organization of sporting events in the department, develop facilities and equipment used for equestrian activities, organize departmental selection, assess the technical proficiency of licensed riders and represent the FFE at departmental level. The committee has a website where you can find further information and contact details for the various equestrian clubs in Yvelines. Referents are also available to answer questions on FFE regulations and judges' training. Read moreThis promenade owes its name to its first five kilometres, along the aqueduct of the Old Church between the pond of the Tower and that of the Perray. On this portion, follow the markup in blue lilies. The curious ones will mark short stops here and there to read the interpretive signs that retraçent the construction of the book. Arrive at the pond of Perray-en-Yvelines, bend it and pass under the railway line; you will reach the city centre in a few shots, before you hire yourself, at the height of the Cross Saint-Jacques, left on the bicycle path. It will bring you back to good harbour through the forest.

Starting out from Chatou, you can stroll along the riverbanks before heading towards Croissy, passing the Île de Bougival. A number of panels featuring Impressionist paintings line the route. Once you've reached the Parc des Impressionnistes, you'll be rewarded with beautiful views over the Seine.

Along the paths and roads you will take, the Château de Breteuil, the Château de la Madeleine, the Château de Méridon or the village of Chevreuse will mark stages not to be missed.
