Maya, "yeast" in Turkish and Greek, refers to the leavened bread whose ancestral Anatolian wheat flour comes from the house's mill. Selçuk Aykan, the chef, cooks the meat to perfection. He also makes his own cheese. The vegetables you eat are grown in the garden or by the farmers of the island. You can walk through the vineyards with a glass of wine in your hand.

First of all, its shaded terrace at the edge of the water is marvellous, one could spend the day there. Then, the welcome is particularly nice. You choose your favorite mezze in the window or you let yourself be guided by the extremely nice waiters if it is too difficult! The fish is caught in the morning and sold by weight. Check the prices first. Everything is homemade. Nice selection of local and foreign wines. Great place!

Here everything is made at the minute and the portions are very generous. Great choice of kebabs (the adana dürüm with its precise and spicy seasoning is a marvel), soups (try the one with red lentils), lahmacun and authentic local dishes. Friendly and fast service. This is a great address on the marina to eat the famous manti but also lots of other good things like fantastic meatballs or the tasty cökertme kebabı. For starters, try the halloumi cheese. Everything is prepared to order. The restaurant does not serve alcohol but does offer excellent homemade lemonade, perfect for cooling down after a long walk. Tea and coffee are on the house. Friendly waiters, friendly atmosphere. Reasonable prices, quite rare in the center of Bodrum.
