One of the gourmet addresses in Bansko. You will enjoy a tasty and generous cuisine with Italian tendencies with pizzas, but also a variation on pasta and risotto, without forgetting the Bulgarian classics, soups, barbecue, etc. The room is bright and nicely decorated, cosy and very comfortable. Good products, freshness, beautiful presentations, pleasant service and honest flavors are enough to make us happy. But be aware that it is better to reserve during peak hours, as is always the case for good addresses!

A nice bar-restaurant with a rather classical decoration but which proposes simple and affordable dishes, such as chicken with vegetables. People come here especially to drink a hot drink during the day (with the presentation of the famous "artistic mousse" on the cappuccino...). In the evening, you can enjoy an aperitif with good bottled or draught beers or cocktails (with or without alcohol). You can stay inside or in front of the bar at the high tables. Here you can enjoy traditional Bulgarian dishes as well as international cuisine, including pizzas, and the inevitable grilled and barbecued specialties. The open terrace, overlooking Nikola Vaptzarov Square, offers an alternative to indoor dining. Live traditional music in the evening. The food is really delicious, the service impeccable and the prices reasonable. Good wine list and appetizing desserts.

Located in a two century old fortified house, this restaurant-cave offers traditional Bansko dishes (meat, fish, Bulgarian salads...) with tasting of good local wines, and offers folklore shows. The Todeva tavern offers its guests particularly tasty home cooking with generous portions and good desserts. Very warm welcome, family and friendly atmosphere. A restaurant highly recommended to spend a very good time.

Outside of town, on the trail route. This small restaurant is frequented by locals, well known for its barbecue specialities. The service is fast and of quality, with a smile and availability. Also, the large garden overlooking the mountains is particularly enjoyable in summer. Be careful, in winter, the restaurant room is quite small. It is therefore better to book in the cold season. A trip outside the city is worthwhile in any case. And the desserts are also excellent.

One of the many restaurants installed in traditional houses along the river. This one was named after the river. In summer, sit under one of the cabins overlooking the river. In winter, the room with the fireplace and the view on the river is pleasant. The service is very kind. You are bound to eat the local specialty, the grilled trout, and it is absolutely delicious! Also soups, sheep's milk yogurt, wild berries, etc. Authentic Bulgarian cuisine. In summer, many people stop here.

Rustic and folkloric atmosphere for this restaurant in the nature, at the edge of the Bachinovo park, with a beautiful covered terrace, wooden furniture, a room decorated in the old style and dishes of Bulgarian cuisine. There are regular performances of traditional Bulgarian bands and songs. The atmosphere is joyful, the cuisine invigorating and generous with specialties from Bansko, trout and others. A good time to spend in group or with the family before a long walk in the park. Small zoo and playground for children.

In a pretty decor without fuss but elegant, with a parking lot, the Golchev is a good place to eat, offering Balkan and western cuisine. On the menu, moussaka (meat and eggplant gratin), chicken with chips or vegetables, a Mediterranean salad and many other dishes. Good wine list (choose local wines), good desserts such as crème caramel. The terrace is particularly pleasant on sunny days, especially when musicians come to play live. Good service.

Happy Bar & Grill is a very well known and appreciated place in Bulgaria for the variety of grilled meats it offers, for its fast-food cuisine but which can be eaten at the table and more slowly, for its fries, salads, and good desserts to finish the meal. In Sandanski, the Happy is located at the exit of the city, near the gas station. Good drinks also among the classic coffees, beers or sodas. Simple and warm atmosphere. Good service, smiling. For a lunch without risking disappointment.
