Streets squares and districts to visit North

Along this large central artery, a number of vendeurs, diamonds and other precious stones have been on the street. In addition, there are plenty of antiques stores from Yunnan, Laos, Cambodia and Myanmar (Burma). Very nice opportunity to make a small walk but if you buy: always caution, caution! It is long since the gold cases deserted the shops, and "antiquity" that you will be offered will probably be a successful imitation!

The Mae Kha canal (khlong) is a small tributary of the Ping River that runs through Chiang Mai. The area was previously neglected and most famous for its pollution and litter... This part of the canal was completely rehabilitated at the end of 2022 and has become one of the city's must-see spots. Along its 750-meter length, craft and souvenir stores, small restaurants and cafés line either side of the canal. The area is particularly photogenic, with its small Japanese-style bridge and numerous lanterns.
