Kau Tapen, the fishing house in Ona language, was the first lodge built in Tierra del Fuego. This elegant lodge is ideally located on the banks of the Rio Grande. The large lounge opens onto a breathtaking view of the Menendez Valley and the Rio Grande. In the centre of the living room, a fire and the bar will welcome you to return from your fishing trips. You can exchange on your day with the manager and sometimes some guides. The lodge is equipped with a well-stocked fishing store in various equipment, where you can find Sage fly canes, very good reels, silks, bas, special flies for fishing for sea trout, and fishing clothing, carefully selected to complement your equipment if needed. You can also use the fly mount table and its mounting equipment to complete your box and mount specific models. The lodge has two rooms to place/remove its waders, a sauna, as well as a massage room.
