The best Italian pizzerias and restaurants Ljubljana

This pizzeria, opened in 1996, is quite special: not only do you have a choice of 66 different kinds of pizza and 14 excellent salads, but above all its decoration is remarkable. Its historic interior includes original pillars designed by the most famous Slovenian architect Jože Plečnik, which gives a special standing to the restoration room. In the plate, you will find pizzas baked in a traditional wood oven. Simple raw products but very correct pizzas. Special mention to the generous salads!

Parma is the first pizzeria opened in this part of Europe in 1973. Students in the 1970s remember their youth in this legendary place, which has become almost cult today. The authentic ovens are from this period (repaired, of course), which makes its charm. And the 40 different kinds of pizza have kept a taste of the past: they are thicker, tastier. You will appreciate the quality of the raw products - hams, cheeses but also arugula - which stand out from other pizzerias.

Osmica means 8, simply because we're at no. 8 on the street. All in orange, this pizzeria with a young, relaxed atmosphere offers a wide choice of pizzas in different sizes. It's ideally located just a stone's throw from Prešeren Square in the pedestrian zone. Prices are affordable, and quality and service are satisfactory. It's the dough that makes this place so famous. There's something for everyone: salads, lasagne, desserts... and the new pizza rolls!

Italian restaurant in the heart of Ljubljana run by Italians. Stefano Rado, one of the owners, after falling in love with the capital during a visit, decided to open his third restaurant here and work there. Thus, with his thirty years of experience, he passes on his knowledge to his pizzaioli and chefs to prepare delicious Italian pizzas, gourmet and rigorously al dente pasta and tasty and colourful salads. The desserts are wonderful too. Many gluten-free solutions. Vegetarians and vegans are welcome.

From the twentieth floor of the Hotel InterContinental, opened in 2017, the view over Ljubljana is breathtaking (we're even talking about the city's highest restaurant). In Restaurant B, the dishes are no less surprising. Prepared by local chef Komnen Bakić, the new menu aims to be international with Slovenia's plural influences. On the bar side, you can enjoy one of our signature cocktails (with honey) at sunset, or enjoy a DJ set in a relaxed atmosphere (April to November).
