OPÉRA DE REIMS
Concert hall for classical music opera and dance
Read moreA true masterpiece of Reims' architectural heritage, the Reims Opera House was built in 1866 by Alphonse Gosset, according to a model characteristic of Italian theatres. Partially destroyed by bombing during the Great War, the building was entirely restored in 1931 in an Art Deco style. Admire the sublime 7.50 m diameter glass roof signed by Edgar Brandt in the theatre. The shows, from baroque to contemporary, will seduce all audiences: ballets, operettas, jazz, and even musical tales for young and old.
