Timetable
As much as Ibiza is a party island, Formentera is not particularly nocturnal. Naturally, summer brings with it its share of events and parties, but these generally take place within the hours of the bars and restaurants, lasting at most until 1 a.m., perhaps a little longer for some establishments.
Night transport
No night-time public transport is provided on the island. If you're going out, watch your alcohol consumption - you're the pilot!
Age restrictions
The legal drinking age in Spain is 18. The same applies for entering nightclubs.
Smokers
Smoking is prohibited in clubs and entertainment venues on the Balearic Islands. Some establishments are more relaxed than others about smoking, and in most of them smoking on the terrace is tolerated.
