Read moreThe event has been held for over 30 years, and ritually takes place at the start of summer, forming a long parade of festivities and demands that stretches from the right bank to the left bank. Although there was some doubt about the date (too close for some to the start of the Olympics), the authorities confirmed that, as every year, the Pride March would be held at the end of June. Floats on which dozens of revellers wiggle and waggle, broadcasting sounds, often electric, behind which tens of thousands of people dance.
