CAFE TALES D'MILETO
Read moreBefore leaving for your day of discovery, why not stop in this very pretty little café where you can find a rather incredible menu based on beans grown and roasted all over the area: Irish coffee, Scottish coffee, cream, cappuccino, mocha, Viennese coffee, cold, hot or frappe... in short, a real Ali Baba's cave, whose diversity is also expressed in all the typically Mexican preparations based on beer. You can also stop there to eat: salads, sandwiches, pasta or regional dishes.
LA PASITA
Read moreIt is the oldest cantina in Puebla, opened in 1916, and probably the most famous too. In an atmosphere of curiosity cabinet full of history, you will be able to taste more than 25 cocktails and preparations based on strong alcohols: the pasita (grape liqueur served with cheese and dried fruits), the sangre de brujas (witch's blood) or the dulce monja (the tender religious). Other cocktails are based on almond, coconut, aniseed or orange liqueur. Truly an experience not to be missed. Good luck!
LA CASA DEL TE
Read moreVery nice café that sends out a nice menu of drinks and small sweets. The place is ideal for a break in the afternoon or at the end of the morning, with its selection of teas and herbal teas of all kinds, not forgetting the regional beers and a small selection of wines. You can also taste small dishes to soothe the palate, simple and rather good: plato ranchero complete, cold cuts, enchiladas... But the real asset of the place is undoubtedly its green garden, where you feel in the heart of nature.
