Arctic Wonder owns the Angmagssalik Hotel, from which you can organize day or multi-day excursions if required. Summer activities include helicopter tours, boat trips (day or night during the midnight sun), 4x4 excursions or guided walking tours around Taasilaq (Valley of Flowers) or the village of Ikateq. In winter, you can try snowmobiling or dogsledding (March and April). Ask at the hotel reception!

Dines Mikaelsen comes from a family of great hunters from the southernmost village of East Greenland, Isortoq. He has been working in tourism for over 15 years and has extensive experience with all kinds of tours and advice, both in winter and summer. Dines is fluent in English, Danish and speaks a little German. As a native of the region, he has all the skills you need to discover the remote fjords and valleys of the east by kayak, dog sled, boat or simply on foot.

This small company, based on the east coast in Ittoqqortoormiit, employs local guides with unrivalled knowledge of the region, allowing you to participate directly in the local economy. Tours include dog-sledding, skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, kayaking, hunting, boating to discover local wildlife, and hiking or climbing for all levels. The company also provides logistical and technical support (equipment rental) for independent expeditions.

Activities include excursions by helicopter, 4x4, boat (to the Apusiajik glacier and Knud Rasmussen) or guided walking tours in and around the villages of Taasilaq (Valley of Flowers), Kulusuk and the village of Ikateq. In winter, you can try out their snowmobile or dogsled outings (in March and April), or even heliskiing, skiing or snowboarding!

They organize guided tours, but can also help you plan your own independent excursion. More rarely: Pirhuk also organizes ice-sheet crossings for the most experienced and well-prepared.
