Getting around by bus and coach Basse-Terre

Management of the Basse-Terre > Pointe-à-Pitre line has just been taken over by the Conseil Régional to offer a faster, more affordable intercity transport service. Take line 105 from the Basse-Terre bus station to the Bergevin bus station. This line also serves several stops in Trois-Rivières, Capesterre-Belle-Eau, Goyave, Petit-Bourg and Baie-Mahault. Journey time: 1h10.

The bus station is located near the market which takes place on the main boulevard. You can go by bus to Grande-Terre to Pointe-à-Pitre (with several stops) and vice versa from about 4am to 6pm on weekdays. Other buses provide connections to Deshaies, Sainte-Rose, Bouillante, Vieux-Habitants. Ask the drivers for information on the schedules and prices in effect.
