M'ENFIN ? !

Comic book store
4.9/5
25 reviews
Open - Close to 19h00

It is always with a great pleasure that we stroll in the middle of the bins and the shelves of this bookshop which constitutes the biggest collection of comics in Brittany. The parquet floor creaks under each of our steps and the abundance of works which surrounds us gives dizziness. To orientate us, the store has just set up a new signposting. We can easily spot the new releases, the comics, the SF section, the classics, the children's comics, the merchandising, but there is nothing better than the advice of the booksellers to transport you into exciting stories and to give you their favorites. Follow the news on the networks to note the dates of the meetings and dedications.

"Today's sustainable fashion for tomorrow's earth" is the leitmotif of this pleasant boutique, which offers a relevant choice of ethical clothing, the most obvious example of which is denim . Decried as one of the world's most polluting products, here they go green with brands that use little water and no chemical dyes. Fabienne and her team - Fred and Chloé - will help you find the ideal model! You can also find vegan sneakers in apple leather (Meeko, Newlab) or virgin wool sweaters knitted in Brittany (Royal Mer). MAX PLUS

Sale
5/5
3 reviews

In the Chantepie area, it is good to come and do good business there. With Max Plus, you'll discover a true Ali Baba cave. Inside this store rather well placed, it is easy to do good business! The arrivals are varied and we often find it surprising to find large brands and useful products. It's true that you don't have to leave with the well-filled cabled. Max Plus is ideal for finding household linen, household appliances, toiletries, decoration, books, toys, food, clothing, shoes, wine and food, we always go back with something. At Max Plus, arrivals determine traffic and come from repurchased lots due to fires, floods, series or judicial winding-ups. Because everything can happen in this store and even incredible objects: a small cru of 2004, a decorative object, a kitchen furniture and tutti. Sold at small prices, you can find a number of interesting brands at the same time. For our part, we crossed Dessange, Nivea, Eram, Adidas, Levi's or Philips during our visit. In short, an address for her little treasures. Do not hesitate to visit their website to subscribe to the newsletter. You will then be notified of the arrival of the week. The more Max Plus: a well organized store.

CENTRE COMMERCIAL RENNES ALMA

Shopping mall
4.2/5
10 reviews

The first large area built in Rennes in 1971, the Alma shopping center has evolved considerably to become the beautiful market gallery that is currently known. It has 97 shops and 11 restaurants. Among the shops, the most prominent national signs: Spring, Zara, Mango, Scott, Hollister (regional exclusivity), Desigual, IKKS, Morgan, Naf-Naf, G-Star, Body Minute, Pylon, Armand Thierry and Small Bombs. These shops in total will offer you everything you want in the area of clothing, footwear, beauty, gifts but also services (tobacco press, banks, shoemaking, laundry, hairdressers, nail bar…), and decoration with Little Extra and La Chaise Longue. There is also a children's playground, many games or rest spaces. We love the many animations and exhibitions that can distract the whole family. At each school holiday period, workshops for children are offered. Every first Wednesday of the month, place in the puppet theater! Let us also remember the present restoration and the coffees of 11. The Alma shopping center is also very easy to access with its large parking lot of 2,500 seats, its exit on the rocade and the buses that serve it. Futé highlights the beautiful entertainment program and the very pleasant surroundings of the gallery.

ATELIER-GALERIE D'ART ANAÏS COLIN

Art galleries
5/5
1 review

Halfway between Place Hoche and Place du Parlement, Anaïs Colin's studio-gallery leaves no one indifferent. The Breton artist has been based here since 2012. The imposing showcases display some of her work, also halfway between various techniques - collage, silkscreen, acrylic paint - which interweave poetically to create joyful compositions. Historical monuments, shellfish and old buildings in Rennes are among her sources of inspiration. Everyday objects - tables, bowls, umbrellas - also come to life under her brush. Anaïs also produces limited edition digital lithographs. There's something to suit every budget.

LA TRINITAINE

Regional groceries
5/5
1 review

Trinitaine is the perfect place to find the small Breton sweetness to offer or a souvenir of the region. This boutique has everything you can dream of and that makes us saliver in the area of Breton products. The address, which has been in place for many years between the central Halles and the Colombier Center, offers an enormous choice of products from the Breton region and the sea, the latter being the specialty of this chain which, after the beginnings of the first store, was founded in Brittany in 1955, from where it has its name. In the grocery store, you will find proven - and approved - products by many consumers: cotriade, sardines prepared according to dozens of recipes (notably to whisky Breton and algae), mackerel, sea terrines, crustacean mosses… There is also a spaceship radius, with Quimper's earthenware, utensils to prepare themselves pancakes and cakes, and traditional Breton bowls on the first name of their owner. The tasting baskets make ideal gift ideas before picking up the train for Montparnasse. And to accompany all this, boxes with the Breton craft beers, and in addition to the cigars and vitrean pommeons, a selection of liqueurs with berries, the Strawgastel strawberries, and the inevitable chouchen! A very good choice of handicraft products, well developed in this pleasant boutique in which tourists and Bretons come to delight with authentic specialties. Salidou, cakes, madeleines, jams, pallets, kouign amann, niniches…

4 Z’YEUX

Optician
5/5
1 review

In the shop window, it is almost hard to believe that you are dealing with a real optician, so much so that certain pairs of glasses on display seem to be pure aberrations or out of a science-fiction film. Inside, Fabienne welcomes us with a big smile and takes us on an immediate tour of her shop. Everywhere, pairs of glasses, all original. There is even a small room at the back, in the shape of a living room with, displayed on the coffee table, in the fridge, on the TV, glasses, always, of all shapes, of all colours, from various designers. A real museum! Assuming that the so-called sober styles of so-called classical opticians are not always the best choices, Fabienne prefers to consider that everyone has their own style and that a frame is never too whimsical as long as it fits us. Here, we take our time to find the frame that suits our looks as well as our personality. Advice comes first and it is possible to take out a loan for a few days if you ever doubt your choice.

FNAC

General bookshop
5/5
1 review

An easy plan, but a practical one when you want to wander around looking for a book without really knowing what you'll like. Without advice, but with time on our hands and plenty of shelves to browse while the Fnac prize list is presented to us. It's true that the famous French retailer needs no introduction, even though it has changed a great deal in over half a century of existence. Fnac has been present in Rennes since the mid-1980s, and boasts a sizeable books section right in the middle of the Colombia store. A leader in its field, the chain offers thousands and thousands of references in all areas: literature, comics, coffee-table books, guidebooks, graphic novels, Zen books, travel books and more. The range is generally geared towards the general public, with the emphasis on bestsellers. But some of the most motivated booksellers select their favorites: all you have to do is ask, and the advice is top-notch. You'll also find video game demonstrations, a seating area, a wide range of video, audio and computer equipment, and a brand-new range of quality household appliances. And let's not forget the ticket office on the first floor, with gift boxes and special offers. A temple of entertainment well worth a visit.
