Every weekend, a large street café is located at the City Golden Friendship Park (Divisoria). It offers local dishes: barbecue, cold dishes, soft drinks and fresh beer. Sometimes music groups play live. A pleasant gathering place in the town of Cagayan de Oro.

Primarily renowned for its pastries (the best in town), Margie's offers a range of flavorful Filipino and Asian dishes for lunch and dinner. The interior is cosy and the terrace very pleasant. The house specialties are the pistachio-colored macapuno pandan cake that Filipinos love, made from a mixture of aromatic herbs and coconut, and foods for the gods, a kind of buttery cake filled with walnuts.
