MINNESOTA RENAISSANCE FESTIVAL

The Minnesota Renaissance Festival is a gigantic festival that takes place in Shakopee, not far from the Twin Cities. As its name suggests, it is entirely dedicated to the Renaissance. A ton of festivities and activities are set up for the occasion: equestrian jousting, music, magic tricks and acrobatics. Costumed characters wander around in a rather successful medieval setting, which takes us back to the time of the knights. You'd really believe it.
