RALLYE DES SAVANES

The Rallye des Savanes is an international car rally held over 4 days in early November, organized since 1971 by SARK (Surinaamse Auto Rally Klub). And although the Savanes Rally remains the best-known, this association is very active and organizes other motor sport events throughout the country all year round. A godsend for enthusiasts, and it's also easy to sign up. Check out their website (in Dutch) for more information.
