Overlooking the main street at the central square, this is undoubtedly the best souvlaki and gyros in town. We come here at the beginning of the evening to have a gyros in the belly while watching the world go by, before going out for a drink in the alleys below.

The most popular place in town, and not only among tourists, with only a few tables on the terrace (opposite Skyros Travel). In this small typical Greek tavern, you will taste a good traditional cuisine, sitting under a charming mulberry tree. The place is especially known for its lamb chops (among other grilled meats), its delicious grilled fish or its kid with lemon. But vegetarians will be delighted by a set of tasty mezzes, and without meat. Pleasant atmosphere and warm service.

This restaurant is located on the rooftop terrace of the Ammos Hotel: it has the same perfect taste for simplicity and chic. The terrace is open to all, hotel guests or not. It is also possible to come and have a glass of aperitif: the wine list is very successful. For dinner, share several small tasty dishes for which the chef has the key. Here, we find ingredients from Skyros, prepared with creativity. The service is adorable, attentive to the needs of a truly tasty experience, on all levels.

A breathtaking view of the sea, a small table under the arbour and a tasty menu will be enough to make you happy. It is a place not to be missed, especially after a swim at the beach of Magazia. Everything is good, and the service is warm, with a plate of watermelon offered at the end of the meal. Among the must-tries: rustic and traditional dishes such as kid with lemon, or an array of mezzes to share, including a good marinated octopus, accompanied by kritamo, a vinegary marine plant. Ideal for a light lunch with a view of the sea.

Ideal setting, in a particularly beautiful region of Skyros, to spend a few relaxing hours at sunset. But also in the morning to eat your breakfast. It is worth trying the desserts (but not only...). Marianna is a perfect hostess who will always welcome you with a smile and warmth. A very nice place to relax in the pines, look at the sea and drink your coffee or eat a snack (salads, mezzés...). A simple self-service but where you have a good time with unforgettable views.
