This family tavern is set back from the waterfront, on a parallel street. The food is warm and simple, not surprising but above average for Kamariotissa. The grills are good, as well as the different mezzes to share. Vegetarians will enjoy a good baked imam (a kind of ratatouille, based on eggplant) or a lightly spiced bouyourdi (baked feta cheese on a bed of tomatoes and peppers). Some evenings in summer, musicians come to play some rebetiko pieces, in a warm atmosphere.

The village of Profitis Ilias is famous for its taverns specializing in spit-roasted meat, especially whole goat. O Vlachos and I Pigi face each other and are our favorites. I Pigi is a little less visited and has a beautiful panoramic view. We appreciate its large terraces under the trees, perched on the heights. The owners are true masters of the grill and the spit: the melting goat roasts gently for hours, as well as the kontosouvli or the kokoretsi (seasoned offal) for the amateurs.
