Read moreThe World MeYouZik world music festival, organised by the Luxembourg City Tourist Office (LCTO), takes place in the open air in the centre of Luxembourg City. It is unique in its kind and offers concerts on four stages: Place GuillaumepII, Place de la Constitution, Rue du Saint-Esprit and Place d'Armes. The festival is also home to the MeYouVillage, located on Place de Clairefontaine, which brings together Luxembourg associations and NGOs. Their aim: to make people discover crafts and gastronomy from elsewhere, as well as their ongoing humanitarian projects.

Read moreOrganised by the Comité de liaison des associations d'étrangers (CLAE), this festival, the first of which dates back to 1983, is accompanied by the Salon du livre et des cultures du Luxembourg and, since 2013, by ARTmanif, Rencontre des cultures et des arts contemporains. Associative stands, literary meetings, debates, gastronomy, children's entertainment, songs and dances of the world punctuate this weekend, which contributes to the construction of a new citizenship in Luxembourg.

BLUES'N JAZZ RALLYE
Read moreIt's one of the most eagerly awaited musical events for the thousands of jazz and blues aficionados! Every year in Luxembourg City, the districts of Grund, Clausen and Pfaffenthal are transformed into an open-air festival. Dozens of concerts take place in cafés, clubs, restaurants and public squares. Stages are also set up at the foot of the ramparts of the former fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage site. An event organised by the City of Luxembourg, together with the Luxembourg City Tourist Office and the Blues Club Lëtzebuerg.
CITY OPEN AIR CINEMA
Read moreIn July or August, the municipal film library organizes the screening of great cinema classics during ten days at 9:30 pm (or at nightfall). In the heart of the city center, the square in front of the Grand Ducal Palace hosts a giant screen in front of which no less than 500 spectators can be seated. Varied, entertaining and for all audiences, the program is composed of classic films as well as cult feature films and family films. Young and old alike will find something to enjoy during these star-studded evenings.

Read moreEvery year, the streets of Contern are closed to traffic so that around fifty comic book authors can set up shop on the festival site and offer dedications. About a hundred sales stands are also present. There is a wide range of new and second-hand comics, original drawings, posters, figurines, and everything that revolves around comics. Several catering stands are run by the local associations to offer festival-goers a convivial and gourmet break.
