Departing from the extreme south-east of the country, in Schengen, this walk takes you from the Luxembourg Moselle to the Terres Rouges region, through the whole south of the country. The trail has a steep setting at first, largely dominated by the Moselle vineyards as far as Mondorf-les-Bains. Beyond Remerschen and Elvange, you will pass to a flatter, watered terrain, suitable for cereal cultivation. The tour then takes you to Hellange via Frisange and Peppange.

This leisure area, created on the ponds which were sandpits in the 1970s, covers 130 ha, including 25 ha of water. It consists of beaches, as well as playgrounds and picnic areas. Among the many activities on offer, there are water sports (paddle, rowing, canoeing, prohibited outside motorized ports), a diving school, a swimming pool and fishing (two lakes are dedicated to this activity). In summer, sports courses are organized.

Situated in the immediate vicinity of the Moselle wine region, only 15 km from Luxembourg airport and at the foot of the Mercure Kikuoka Golf hotel and restaurant, this superb golf course offers an 18-hole championship course, on a 120-hectare, slightly undulating terrain with several water hazards and 90 bunkers. Home to numerous national and international competitions, this course has been selected to host the European PGA Challenge Tour for five consecutive years. A place that allows golfers to evaluate their skills.

Much better than a miniature golf course, the Mondorf Easy-Golf has everything of a big one with its 18 holes and numerous green spaces (nearly 3,500 m² including 214 metres of track). This concept, - Adventure Golf - developed in Germany, has already met with enormous success with a family audience. Located in the heart of the magnificent thermal park, Mondorf Easy-Golf is played according to the same rules as golf and is of course open to everyone. The place also offers draughts and chess games. Something to have fun with the family when the sun is shining!

This 9.6 km long "dream loop" (Traumschleife in German) starts in Manternacher, in the nature reserve that stretches along the Syre valley. The route follows the course of the river and then leads you through impressive limestone rock formations. The walk then continues towards the vineyards to the old orchards of the Lellig plateau. Ancient mills, ravines and superb views accompany you along the way.

The route of excellence "Traumschleife - Schengen without borders" takes you through the Stromberg nature reserve before arriving in France in the small village of Contz-les-Bains. On the heights, you will enjoy a breathtaking view of the Moselle valley. Thanks to its geographical location, the Schengen without borders route allows you to discover three countries: France, Germany and Luxembourg. Allow at least 3 hours.

In a green setting, just a few metres from the superb Moselle promenade, a safe track allows children to gain speed by testing mini-scooters over a distance of 250 m. They can also, this time accompanied by adults, enjoy a recently renovated 18-hole mini-golf course. The very pleasant environment invites you to bask in the sun and enjoy nature with your family. Possibility to eat and refresh oneself on the spot. A green space just the way we like it!

The town of Remich is home to an open-air swimming pool with a large pool with diving boards and a slide, as well as a small pool reserved for play activities for the little ones. The site is open from the end of spring and throughout the summer period weather permitting. Changing rooms are available on site. A kiosk offering snacks and drinks as well as a terrace are accessible. A must for all families as soon as the temperatures rise.

The Motor Yacht Club of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg was founded in 1964 in Remich. After the construction of the Schwebsange marina, the headquarters moved to the Moselle riverside. Today, the MYCL has about 200 members. It is the oldest school for navigational licences in the Grand Duchy. It offers nautical activities as well as training courses and preparation courses for obtaining permits.

The Golf de Luxembourg offers you an 18-hole golf course of 6,219 metres long, which is built around the superb 18th century renovated Belenhaff farmhouse. The course opens onto three landscapes around which each hole is orchestrated: on the one hand, the Auf dem Bélenberg, a plateau surrounded by beech and oak forests. On the other hand, Unter dem Bélenbösch, a bucolic landscape surrounded by hedges. And finally In der Heisterbach, which is a naturally hilly area.

This route is a 9 km loop with 24 information stations. The trail starts close to the cultural centre of the village of Ahn, then quickly becomes steep to reach the Palmberg Plateau. The Palmberg Plateau has all the characteristics of a Mediterranean landscape, with large boxwood clumps and numerous orchids. Don't miss a stop near the Donvenbaach brook in Gëllentëmpel to contemplate the waterfall and the ravine forest.
