Isolated in a haven of greenery, although located at the northern end of the country (close to the borders of Belgium and Germany), the small Troisvierges train station in the canton of Clervaux is very convenient as it is connected to the main towns in the Grand Duchy. It is also the starting point for a hike from Troisvierges to Clervaux (13 km) and two cycling tours: the Panorama circuit (25 km) and the Gënzentour circuit (61 km). The station has free parking, bicycle shelters and a taxi rank.

Functional but not necessarily aesthetic, the small station of Wiltz has been operational since 1881. It belongs to line 1b connecting Kautenbach to Wiltz, in the canton of the same name. There is a car (292 free spaces) and bicycle (7 spaces) park nearby. It is the start of a CLF walk, i.e. from station to station (forget the car!), which connects Wiltz to Drauffelt. The Ettelbruck train station, once a small picturesque stone building, was put into service by the Eastern Railway Company in 1862. It is located a stone's throw from Ettelbruck's city center, on line 10 connecting Luxembourg-City to Troisvierges-frontier. It is one of the busiest stations in Luxembourg and is currently being renovated. The project includes the construction of a new bus station in front of the current "Verband" site, a new P&R building as well as the redesign of the streets in the area.

Located near the city centre, Diekirch station is a Luxembourg railway station served by line 10 of the CFL trains, linking Luxembourg-City to Gouvy (Belgium). It is equipped with a car park (378 spaces including 2 spaces reserved for people with reduced mobility) and bicycle parking (7 spaces including bicycle shelters). The station is the starting point of the 12.9 km CFL hike which links Diekirch to Ettelbruck via Erpeldange. It is also located on the route of two cycle tracks.
