SANGHA LODGE
Read moreA former safari relay mainly for the Bongo hunters, the site was rehabilitated in a luxurious and charming lodge by a South African businessman, Rod Cassidy, specializing in wild tourism. The seven bungalows that make up this lodge are spacious, tastefully furnished and comfortable. Located on the banks of the Sangha River, 5 km before the Doli Lodge, the Sangha Lodge offers original activities such as the observation of the 300 bird species listed here (the boss is passionné), the tiger fish fishery in the Sangha or a night and night in a Pygmy camp.
DOLI LODGE
Read moreA complex complex created by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) at the borders of the Central African Republic, Congo-Brazzaville and Cameroon, in the heart of the equatorial forest. Some bungalows were built on piles, facing the Sangha. The interior interior, where the wood and the African fabric reign, offers an appreciable comfort in the middle of the bush, each room having a mosquito net, a shower and a private terrace.
The lodge offers visitors a plane that makes the shuttle (Bangui-Bayanga), which is additional expenses (at least € 1 500 per person return per person on a basis of 2, much less if group, 1 000 € per person from 3). Likewise, for gorillas, the visit is possible, with 230 € per person.
CASE DE PASSAGE ECOFAC
Read moreIn a large and beautiful park surrounded by the trees of the forest, there are a few houses built in hard, white and green, with offices and staff in Ecofac (director, guides…). The two boxes of passage had a good comfort a few years ago, but that is no longer the case. With a capacity of 6 people, each apartment has two rooms with 2 single beds, as well as a double bed. But bed nets are wide holes, cleaning is not done, sheets are not clean. The whole is somewhat outdated and ageing very rapidly due to the blocking of subsidies and the lack of will of responsible staff.
