Events calendar Kyūshū

This festival dates back to 1660, and each tank was to represent a quarter of the city. In 1819, the festival leaders decided to standardise the tank architecture, which, however, took the most diverse forms: lion, turtle, dragon, etc. The festival takes place on November 3 and 4.
