Altos de Yerbabuena welcomed its customers for a long time in its small restaurant located on the road of the archaeological park. Change of scenery in 2022, direction the hostel Masaya, under the superb maloka of the inn, at the edge of the Magdalena canyon. The cuisine remains the same, healthy and tasty, with fresh and organic ingredients, and recipes from the region or from much further away. The dishes are well presented and good value for money. A good supply of wine and excellent coffee. Highly recommended, both for the setting and the food.

Impeccable service in a painted wood room reminiscent of a cruise ship, decorated with models of sailing boats. You can admire the beautiful view of the valley of Medellín. It is quite expensive, but the dishes are very good, especially the fish. This is a formal atmosphere, a good tone.

The meat is first choice and the wine list is pleasant. Beautiful view of the city, and shows and concerts often take place.

A vegetarian restaurant without much charm, but which attracts a lot of locals, because it offers a healthy and tasty home cooking for a very low price. You can choose seven small dishes (to be noted on a piece of paper) with in bulk, vegetable soup, quinoa, integral rice, tofu, potatoes with peanut sauce, fruit cake, fruit juice... Beware, the restaurant is a victim of its success, and the choice is reduced after lunch time.

A simple, healthy and gourmet address.

A festival of flavors for those who love veggie and vegan cuisine. Juan Manuel Barrientos, Medellín's only restaurateur with a Michelin star to his name, opened this restaurant in 2018. In an almost Balinese ambience of wood, wicker and rattan, Kaime celebrates the diversity of plant-based gastronomy. Here, you can rediscover classic recipes with a rather daring twist: tikka massala, tortillas, burgers, cheese fondue with truffles or a vegan version of orange "chicken"... a hearty menu at a reasonable price.
