A neat place, with vegetal wall, fountain, sofas... A calm and bohemian atmosphere, very relaxing, to please your palate and your soul. This café-restaurant offers first of all a good coffee from the owners' organic finca, but also tea, beers, juices and fresh international cuisine (Thai, Middle Eastern, Colombian), with well-presented dishes, mostly gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian. It's trendy and therefore a bit expensive, but the quality is there and the setting offers a pleasant break from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Nice little French-speaking address on Getsemaní. Gilles and Carolina offer a warm welcome in their colorful bistro, for a French cuisine with Colombian touches, or the opposite. Home cooking with quality local products bought every day at the market. The menu is not very long, but appetizing and changes regularly according to the fresh products. A good choice of breakfasts too. The prices are reasonable. Carolina also offers Colombian cooking workshops which are very successful.

Delicate cuisine, including delicious seafood risottos. This restaurant is run by a staff straight out of the most renowned hotel school in the country. The cuisine is infused with foreign influences, especially Japanese. Chef Diego Camacho's goal is to abolish all fats: try the Shanghai chicken cooked in its mandarin juice. Excellent value for money and an unbelievable setting on the terrace, at the foot of the church.

The restaurant is located in an old convent, with a patio dressed with plants and palm trees. A varied menu, a good cuisine: robalo with lemon, camarones Olano, and the star dish:the Temptation of Zeus, composed of lobster, squid with white wine and cognac but also shrimp and crab with a sauce of passion fruit, octopus with garlic and coconut rice! Didier, passionate about jazz, will feed your ears as well as your taste buds during concerts of a very high level. To crown it all, the son Simón, lyric singer, comes to perform on occasion.

In a very oceanic blue and white decor, this restaurant opened in 2001 is the paradise of ceviches, but also serves delicious fajitas, vegetarian salads and sandwiches. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The hotels will probably recommend this restaurant, for those who like fish and seafood, even if it is not an incredible cuisine compared to more popular establishments. The setting, however, is very pleasant, with a terrace overlooking the Parque de los Novios, but a little away from the crowd and noise of Carrera 3. Jesús "Chucho" Trujillo started out selling shrimp on the street. Today he owns several restaurants in the country, in Santa Marta, Barranquilla and Bogotá.

The flavours of La Pampa Argentina in full Caribbean. The meat is of very high quality and well prepared (there are also fish and seafood on the menu). A tango atmosphere and a wide choice of Argentinian and Chilean wines.

A small, unpretentious café-restaurant, offering an original and delicious fusion cuisine with many vegetarian dishes, in a friendly setting and with a warm welcome. A beautiful discovery!

A traditional restaurant opened more than a quarter of a century ago, very popular with the Carthaginian bourgeoisie. It is chic and authentic. You will dine to Cuban music in a setting that resembles the wooden houses of Louisiana. The prices of the dishes are, of course, high but almost everyone agrees that this is one of the best restaurants in town: the octopus carpaccio and the Indonesian langoustines sautéed with curry, coconut cream and tamarind are great culinary moments! Reservation recommended.

Beautiful colonial house, where you feel like you're dining at the bottom of the ocean. Exotic fusion of ingredients for one of the best seafood restaurants in town. Reservations are recommended, especially on weekends when the Colombian jetset arrives. Juan has other establishments in the plaza that we can all recommend: Mesa Peruana, with Nikkei, Andean and Creole cuisine, and Pizzeria Gourmet with pizzas of course, not bad at all, although not cheap.

Mike McMurdo, a Michelin-starred chef with his New York restaurant Anthos, first set up a Mexican restaurant before opening Ouzo in 2011, giving the city a great culinary showcase. The Scottish, Irish, Californian and Chinese blood that runs through Mike's veins transpires on the plate with a Mediterranean twist. Grilled octopus; fried calamari with mango; duck breast with grilled squash; beef filet with red wine and corozo sauce and papas criollas... Well installed in front of the park of Los Novios, in the shade of the trees, we are rather at ease!

One of the best restaurants in the city. Quite kitschy frame. Shrimp specialities and other seafood delicacies.

Excellent meat restaurant (Argentina, but also Colombian) in the pleasant decoration. Small or large serving depending on your appetite. Fine wine list.

On deck (fans) or inside (air conditioning), an excellent table for a kitchen with Arabic influences: falafel, historical for small snacks (evening only), but also sheep, fish… Meats are delicious: Try ribs (Canadian lamb ribs), a feast!

In the Prado district, a family restaurant of Caribbean cuisine, prepared with the traditional recipes kept by mom. Good fish, seafood and meat dishes, but also burgers and simple dishes to share with friends (or with your mom). The setting is pleasant in a well renovated colonial house, with high ceilings and a patio in the back perfect for a cocktail in the shade of the medlar tree. Warm welcome and efficient service. Also a small play area for the children, mom thought of everything!

On Sound Bay beach, Donde Francesca is a restaurant that doesn't look like much, but the food is generally good and the view over the lagoon is unobstructed. Try the octopus carpaccio, the shrimp ceviche, or the scampi with three flavors. Nice service but rather slow, even compared to the standard of the island, but one is not in a hurry in such a setting, the feet in the sand. One can wait with a fruit juice or a fresh cocktail.

In the village center, this pizzeria has been (almost) unanimously acclaimed for a few years, as much for its quality - with a thin dough (but too thin for some) and fresh and well-chosen ingredients - as for its generous portions and reasonable prices. You can eat there during the day, but the atmosphere is nicer in the evening, in the small garden lit by candlelight. Nice and efficient service. You can order and have it delivered to your hotel.

At the end of the touristy part of the Malecón, a restaurant that has become a classic in Mompox. Walter, the Austrian chef, offers delicious Mediterranean cuisine in his workshop house, with good wood-fired pizzas that everyone loves, homemade pasta, gazpacho, salads (lobster with pesto, for example), and Austrian and Swiss specialties... We dine on large wooden tables, in a pretty patio with soft lights. The service is friendly and nice. The prices remain reasonable. A good address.

This is undoubtedly the best restaurant in San Andrés. Ideal for a romantic dinner above the waves. The setting is nice, in an old fisherman's hut at the end of a pier. Caribbean decoration at the same time elegant and cordial and then of course an excellent kitchen of the sea, with crabs, spiny lobster, or fish fillets of the great days. A coconut tart for dessert is a perfect choice. Reservations are essential (several days in advance in high season). Make an effort to dress up, it's quite chic.

On the beach, a friendly bar-resto set up by Joël, a friendly Basque, whose flag you can't miss! You can eat there with your feet in the sand, typical sea food, but also Basque specialities (axoa from Espelette, xipirons à la basquaise, Biarritz ham...). There are also pizzas, burgers, pasta and homemade bread. And for your thirst: Ricard and home-made beer, served on draught. A corner of the Basque Country in Colombia.
