When to go Finnish Lapland ?

The months of May to August are ideal for outdoor activities (many of which are not possible before mid-May). July is the hottest month, when the sun shines longest. From December to March-April, it's time for winter sports, snow and saunas! In autumn, you'll be picking mushrooms and berries. October-November is a bit sad, before the first snowflakes fall, and spring when the thaw comes.
