DAMARALAND CAMP

Located in the heart of a rocky and barren land, the luxurious Damaraland Camp has created a privileged relationship with its environment. The site is splendid, lost in the ochre mountains of the Damaraland where grazing harmony harmoniously and farmed animals. It looks for elephants adapted to the desert in the bed of the Huab River, and the lucky ones can see black predators and rhino. The accommodation consists of 2 very spacious tents (beds, bathroom, bedside tables and wooden furniture). The protected hall of reed, is open on the valley and beautifully decorated with rattan furniture and ochre fabrics. In the evening, we appreciate the starry sky not far from the fire. It takes at least 2 nights in this camp and families are welcome.

Proposed activities. Game drive and hiking, astronomical observation and searching for elephants adapted to the desert. The quality of the guides is excellent, and the 4 x 4 hikes are an opportunity to enrich the local flora and fauna.

Local population. Reference to ecotourism success involving local communities (see box below), this camp is located on the village lands of the Conservancy conservancy.
