The museum is worth a visit just for the beauty of its setting. Located in the heart of the Parc de la Perle, it is housed in the superb Villa Bartholoni, built in 1830. In very bright rooms with a superb view of the lake, a wide range of scientific objects dating from the 17th to the ^19th century are presented. JURASSICA Dinotec is an open-air museum offering visitors the chance to discover dinosaur footprints. These sauropod and theropod footprints are displayed in the courtyard of the Technical Division building of the Centre jurassien d'enseignement et de formation. Visitors can also admire life-size sketches of dinosaurs and two clocks that provide a better understanding of geological time compared to precise time measurement.
