Read moreAdjacent to the central station, on 60,000 square meters, this gigantic, brand-new, luxurious-looking shopping mall contains more than 260 stores of all types (including a huge Carrefour, which sells all kinds of local products, and is perhaps the most interesting store in the center for a tourist who wants to bring back specialties). The gallery also houses one of the underground entrances to the train station, which is open at dawn. In the end, you will find only few Polish brands, and the prices are not so interesting.
GALERIA KAZIMIERZ
Read moreGaleria Kazimierz is probably the most elegant shopping center in the city. It is located in a completely renovated 19th century industrial complex in the eastern part of the historic district of Kazimierz. It features leading Polish and international brands, jewelry stores and the high-quality supermarket Alma. There is also a high-end cinema (at Western European prices) which opened long after the gallery.

Read moreLocated in the Rynek, this is a shopping center where you won't find little grannies coming to buy their fresh vegetables. It's a small gallery where you'll find 15 international luxury stores in a cozy and design environment, far from the crowds. It's a good opportunity for tourists at the cutting edge of fashion, since you can often find products that are not available in Western Europe. At the back is a bar, Bar 13, which serves excellent Italian coffee, paninis and delicious antipasti.
