2h04 from Paris-Montparnasse, Saint-Jean station is served by TGV, TGV inOUI, Ouigo, Intercités and TER trains from many French cities, including Toulouse, Hendaye, Tarbes, Arcachon, Lille, Strasbourg, Marseille, Nîmes.... And don't forget the Thalys, which makes a direct return trip to Brussels-Midi station! Over the years, the station has undergone a series of renovations, notably to its emblematic, immense metal glass roof overhanging the tracks. It has retained its old-fashioned cachet, while modernizing with shops and public amenities.

Biarritz station is just 3 km from the city center and is well served by buses and cabs. Ticket offices are open from 8 a.m. to 6:15 p.m. Monday to Saturday, and from 10 a.m. on Sundays and public holidays. Self-service automatic ticketing terminals are also available. There are several direct daily routes to Paris (4 h) and Bordeaux (2 h), as well as trains to Irùn. A wide range of services are available on site and in the surrounding area, including bike and car rentals, restaurants, bars and newspapers.
