Railway station Midi-Pyrénées

Located on the left bank of the Tarn, Place Stalingrad, Albi-Ville station is served by several regional lines. You can easily reach the station from Rodez, Toulouse or Montauban. The station is open every day and offers a wide range of services, including ticketing, bus connections, drop-off points, parking and cabs, as well as a press dispenser, photocopiers, passport photos and lifts. The reception area has been renovated to optimize passenger comfort.

Tarbes and the Hautes-Pyrénées department are at the crossroads of the mountains, the Atlantic and the Mediterranean coasts, and enjoy an excellent location that attracts a growing number of tourists. The station is well served by the rail network and the site is very busy during the winter and summer seasons. Several TGV, Intercity and sleeper trains connect Paris to Tarbes via Pau and Bordeaux. The TER network also allows to reach some high altitude resorts and the Basque Country.

If you arrive in Toulouse by train, you will disembark at the Matabiau station. It is a ten-minute walk from the city centre and is served by the metro. The bus station is nearby and there is a connection with the airport shuttle. The station offers many services: reception of young travellers, lockers, lost and found, ticket machines, restaurants, wifi and power points, identity photos, photocopies... and of course, a ticket office!

Numerous connections are provided with the Toulouse-Matabiau and Brive-la-Gaillarde stations, which offer national connections. Despite regular threats, the night train to Paris-Austerlitz, popular with workers and tourists alike, is also still in service. To get to the station, which is a little way from the city center, you can take the Rodez bus service, or use the parking lot or cab service provided. There are several fast-food outlets opposite the station.

The Montauban train station offers many daily connections, in particular to link Montauban to Toulouse. The TGV Atlantique allows you to reach Paris in 4h45 and thanks to its position Montauban is at the crossroads of the Bordeaux-Nice and Paris-Toulouse-Spain railways. In short, you can travel anywhere in France! The reception of disabled people is possible in the hall of the station, a ramp allows access to the hall from the forecourt. This station is equipped with a defibrillator. There is also a restaurant with a press point.

The Lourdes train station is about 700 meters east of the Sanctuaries and most of the hotels in the Marian city. The station is on the Toulouse-Bayonne line. There are direct trains from Paris, and it takes 5 hours during the day. There is also a night train which connects the Paris-Austerlitz station to Lourdes in 10 hours 30 minutes. Finally, special connections are set up during the periods of pilgrimage, linking the city to all of Europe. Lourdes is also linked to Tarbes by train.

It is the department's main station and is served every day by trains of the Intercités network (Paris - Cahors - Toulouse - Cerbère line); trains of the night Intercités network (Paris - Toulouse line) and trains of the TER Occitanie network (Toulouse-Matabiau - Brive-la-Gaillarde line), as well as shuttle buses to Figeac, Anglars, Puy-l'Evêque, Cajarc... In the station: a waiting room, ticket collection points for TER and Intercités tickets as well as a ticket office. Coffee machines and vending machines are at your disposal.

This station saw the arrival of the first train from Castelnaudary on April 16, 1865. Today, it can be reached by regional lines from Toulouse, Mazamet and Saint-Sulpice. Service is provided not only by rail, but also by road, with buses from the liO81 network. Parking for cars and bikes is available. You'll also find a newspaper vending machine and a "Power & Station" that lets you recharge your phone and surf the Net while you pedal!

Foix is fortunate to have a superb multimodal station (combined use of several modes of transportation), thus reducing the use of the automobile. Pedestrian access facilitated, also for people with reduced mobility, covered bike lockers and bike attachments, bus stops with shelter, wooded parking of 260 spaces, charging station for electric vehicles, green and flowery spaces. The complex received the Orquasi trophy in 2017 (Regional Observatory of Infrastructure Service Quality).

Pamiers' small, recently renovated station welcomes nearly 350,000 passengers a year, making it the busiest station in the Ariège. It is served by Intercity trains from Paris to the Spanish border at Latour-de-Carole-Entveigt station (two hours from Pamiers), where you can board the characteristic Yellow Tourist Train. It is also home to the TER (regional express train) that connects it to Toulouse. It has a car park, a bicycle park and automatic machines for selling TER tickets when the ticket offices are closed.
