LIO is the bus service set up by the Occitanie region. The first weld rail of the Toulouse tramway was carried out on 19 June 2008. This line will connect Toulouse (Les Arenas) to Blagnac and Beauzelle (Andromeda district). It will be connected to line A of the subway, line C (TER) and bus lines. The commissioning is planned for 2010… this will allow us time to talk about it with more details.

The Lourdes train station is about 700 meters east of the Sanctuaries and most of the hotels in the Marian city. The station is on the Toulouse-Bayonne line. There are direct trains from Paris, and it takes 5 hours during the day. There is also a night train which connects the Paris-Austerlitz station to Lourdes in 10 hours 30 minutes. Finally, special connections are set up during the periods of pilgrimage, linking the city to all of Europe. Lourdes is also linked to Tarbes by train.

The buses of the liO-Arc-en-ciel network take you all over the department: fifty-five regular lines serve more than three hundred communes. They are supplemented by ten lines that allow you to travel to neighbouring departments and Spain. In addition, five special "Fairs and Markets" lines take you to the Comminges region! All coaches are accessible to wheelchair users. It is the department's main station and is served every day by trains of the Intercités network (Paris - Cahors - Toulouse - Cerbère line); trains of the night Intercités network (Paris - Toulouse line) and trains of the TER Occitanie network (Toulouse-Matabiau - Brive-la-Gaillarde line), as well as shuttle buses to Figeac, Anglars, Puy-l'Evêque, Cajarc... In the station: a waiting room, ticket collection points for TER and Intercités tickets as well as a ticket office. Coffee machines and vending machines are at your disposal.

Skyvall is the new gondola lift linking Peyragudes to Loudenvielle. It allows quick access to the foot of the slopes and from now on the car is no longer necessary to reach the resort. Less than 10 minutes are necessary to make the journey in a 10-seater cabin. You can enjoy magnificent panoramas, without stress! The ascent can be combined with a chairlift ride. The proposal is also very smart in summer to reach the summits and the departure points of numerous hikes, to be done on foot or by mountain bike.

The low-cost airline EasyJet transports you exclusively on board Airbus aircraft. It is therefore not surprising that it is located at Toulouse-Blagnac airport, from where it serves nearly thirty destinations! At your disposal, direct flights to Paris, Lyon, Nice, Nantes or Bastia but also to England, the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Portugal, Morocco, Spain... The rates are smart, especially if you plan your stay at least six weeks in advance. But be careful: on board, you are only allowed to keep one piece of luggage. So if you are travelling with a suitcase, remember to leave a small space for your handbag!

For more than 50 years, the coach transport company Cars Dethomas in L'Isle-Jourdain has specialized in school, tourist, private, professional and contracted transport. Whether it is for regular school pick-ups or the organization of a school trip, its vehicles and its trained and experienced staff are able to handle all types of requests, for trips to schools in the region, but also for school trips in France, Europe and abroad.

This inter-urban network has a dozen lines from Sébazac to Baraqueville, from Druelle to Sainte-Radegonde, as well as a special line for Sundays and public holidays which links the Bourran hospital to Quatre-Saisons, passing through the centre of Rodez and the station. A transport on demand service also allows you to reach the leisure sites of Vabre and Combelles and the golf course of Grand Rodez. The Tub, the basin's urban transport network, links Cransac-les-Thermes, Decazeville, Firmi and Viviez via two Aubin lines. Tickets are sold directly on the bus; a rechargeable magnetic card can be purchased at the Centre Technique Intercommunal de Decazeville Communauté (Fontvergnes district). Ideal for locals travelling from one place to another, or for tourists wishing to discover the area without the hassle of transport, and at a lower cost.

This station saw the arrival of the first train from Castelnaudary on April 16, 1865. Today, it can be reached by regional lines from Toulouse, Mazamet and Saint-Sulpice. Service is provided not only by rail, but also by road, with buses from the liO81 network. Parking for cars and bikes is available. You'll also find a newspaper vending machine and a "Power & Station" that lets you recharge your phone and surf the Net while you pedal!

This urban transport network offers 11 bus lines that criss-cross the whole of Castres town centre, from the station to the Borde Basse leisure centre, and even as far as Mazamet. A Libellus Chrono service that crosses the city in record time is also available. This network is also a good example of the city's and the agglomeration's desire to continue the transition to electric vehicles. The municipal services are equipped with a number of models and Libellus is following suit. A new hybrid phase is currently being put on line.

Lourdais Taxis operate every day 24 hours a day. They provide transfer from the station to the airport, to hotels and to the classic city races. To go to the supermarket, the Sanctuaries, museums and even disco, you can count on them because traffic during the pilgrimage season is sometimes not easy to the Marian city. Some drivers are certified by insurance companies and are regulated by Social Security in order to carry out safe transportation.

A former Airbus employee, Simon has now turned his hand to fitting out vans. He offers several of them for rental, so you can discover Aveyron and its wide open spaces from a human perspective. Accessible to drivers over the age of 21, his vehicles, with or without pop-up roofs, offer every possible comfort for driving part of the day and sleeping comfortably in the evening, alone, in pairs or with the family (pets are allowed too!). Simon's love of the region means he can advise you on the best routes to take.

The Greater Auch urban bus service is provided by Alliance. The 7 lines depart from the Baylac stop along the allées d'Étigny in the upper town, running from 7am to 8pm. They run to Hôpital (line A), Gare (line B), La Hourre (line C), Mouliot (line D), Pavie (line E), Duran (line F) and Preignan-Mairie (line G). The free Auscitaine shuttle runs continuously every 20 minutes between the upper and lower town, from 7.30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Finally, the FlexoGare service provides service after the arrival of the last TER (8pm) from Toulouse.

Vélô Toulouse provides self-service city bicycles for use by people aged 14 and over. There are 250 stations throughout the city, spaced out every 300 meters or so. It's easy to use: via a terminal and using your bank card. At the terminal, you'll be asked to authorize a €150 deposit. It's rare not to be able to find something to go around, as the stations are manned by staff who recharge the batteries. Good to know: the AllBikeNow application lets you check availability at each station in real time.

Occitanie's intermodal lines, from their little name "Lio", are grouped together within the Occitanie region's public transport network. Inaugurated in September 2018, replacing the existing departmental networks, it also integrates the TER Occitanie network. In total, Lio comprises hundreds of regular coach lines, over twenty TER lines, transport-on-demand services in six départements, as well as several hundred school lines. Stops include Albi, Castres, Gaillac, Carmaux, Lacaune...

Ideally located near Figeac, this taxi company has been offering for more than 10 years to transport pilgrims and luggage on the way to Le Puy, including the Celé variant. If the rates are interesting, they are even more so if you get together with other pilgrims to make the trip.

The network liO aims at uniting the territories of the Occitanie region through a rich transport service. In operation since September 2018, the public service combines rail and road travel in all 13 departments in the region, including Herat. Its brand reinforces the idea of a territorial alliance and allows offering more diverse and modern modes of transport to locals. The network supports regular intercity bus lines, school transport lines, regional rail services (the TER) and the Multimodal Exchange Centres (MEPs). 

The Occitanie region has taken over the public transport service in the department. It has named its service liO and you will see its new and comfortable red buses on the roads. The Hautes-Pyrénées has 8 lines, some of which serve neighbouring departments.

Foix is fortunate to have a superb multimodal station (combined use of several modes of transportation), thus reducing the use of the automobile. Pedestrian access facilitated, also for people with reduced mobility, covered bike lockers and bike attachments, bus stops with shelter, wooded parking of 260 spaces, charging station for electric vehicles, green and flowery spaces. The complex received the Orquasi trophy in 2017 (Regional Observatory of Infrastructure Service Quality).

Pamiers' small, recently renovated station welcomes nearly 350,000 passengers a year, making it the busiest station in the Ariège. It is served by Intercity trains from Paris to the Spanish border at Latour-de-Carole-Entveigt station (two hours from Pamiers), where you can board the characteristic Yellow Tourist Train. It is also home to the TER (regional express train) that connects it to Toulouse. It has a car park, a bicycle park and automatic machines for selling TER tickets when the ticket offices are closed.

The rate is fixed and established in advance at the time of booking. From Lourdes, you can either visit the surrounding ski resorts, reach the airport or even Spain.
