THANN MUSEUM
Museum housing collections and ancient documents relating to the collegiate church and the cult of Saint Thiébaut
In this place steeped in history, one can discover, on four levels, an exhibition regrouping collections and old documents relating to the collegiate church and the cult of Saint-Thiébaut, to the castle and the old fortifications, to the vineyard but also to the furniture and the craft industry, to the beginnings of the industry and to the last two world wars. We will linger in front of the oak wine press from the beginning of the 18th century, the Rhenish renaissance cupboard from 1677 in walnut, the earthenware stove from the 18th century. Throughout the year, the museum, also known as the "Halle aux Blés", hosts temporary exhibitions. A very interesting local museum to discover!
