A popular spot for Doller residents, with a wild, natural feel that's perfect for a stroll in Sewen.
This lake is the swimming spot of the Doller inhabitants, the prohibition does not prevent young people from diving from the dam or families from enjoying the cool water. The place keeps a wild and natural side pleasant for the walk. The view over the valley from the chalet and the Wasserfall are worth the detour! Built under German administration, the Lake Alfeld dam is a colossal structure that supplied the textile factories in the valley. Today it regulates the flow of the Doller and feeds the Mulhouse water table.
