HASHEM

In Jordan, Hashem is an institution. In Saudi Arabia, the "king of falafel" is established in franchised restaurants all over the city. You won't find the charm or the old-fashioned side of the little table in Amman. Here, the restaurants are like stainless steel canteens where falafel is prepared before your eyes. In the Middle East, falafel is best eaten at breakfast and served as a sandwich with French fries and garlic sauce to take away. It's not light-light, but it's downright delicious.
