A town with old ochre-colored houses, a traditional market and a typical date market.
The old town of Hail stretches north from the A'arif fortress to the Barzan fort. The ruined adobe houses, the palm-tree planted courtyards are hidden behind the rows of modern houses and stores that line the streets of the district. It is therefore necessary to snoop around a little to flush out the old ochre-colored houses. The neighborhood is also bordered by the traditional fruit and vegetable market, as well as a date market, very typical. To the north, the old fort of Barzan dates back to 1808, it was the palace of Mohammed Al Ali.
