ABA AS SU'UD VILLAGE

The village of Aba as Su'ud is one of the reasons why people come to Najran. Its well-preserved Yemeni-style houses are a testament to the desire of the people of Najran to preserve their culture and maintain their heritage. Surrounded by mountains, the village occupies a small plateau planted with fields and palm trees. The adobe houses are emblematic of the local style with their whitewashed crenellations, their massive walls of clay and straw, the base wider than the top, the upper floors pierced with windows.
